Billboard Magazine was shifting into the digital age when they contracted Newmerica to produce original programming at SXSW and Bonnaroo. We assembled a team and hit the festival circuit to upend the conventions of festival coverage. From hotel lobby putt putt with Alice Cooper, shotgunning beers with the Black Lips and getting schooled on festival attire from Ludacris, we ignored the molds of traditional interviews.

The results: Over 3 million total views on Billboard’s website and YouTube channel.
